
St Clare's as always strives to keep our school green.
This week we introduced reusable bottles to all our classes.
The children have access to unlimited filtered Tipperary water all day

St Clare’s Healthy Eating Policy
Through the implementation of our Social, Personal and Health Education programme we in St Clare’s endeavour to assist our pupils in the formation of positive and responsible attitudes to eating and to appreciate the contribution that good food makes to health. We encourage children to make good food choices
Children are provided with Healthy Breakfast and Lunches daily. We encourage children to drink water and milk.
In St Clare’s we participate in the Food Dudes programme encouraging children to try lots of different fruits and vegetables.
We promote a sense of Well-Being through the Weaving Well-Being Programme.
The children do lots of fun activities to keep active.
We encourage children to be kind and caring through the ABI Care Programme.
We are also holding a Wellbeing Week 11th - 15th of February this year

This year we are focusing on Positive Mental Health and Well Being.
We hope to renew our Healthy Promoting Schools Flag at the end of the year.
St.Clare’s achieved the Healthy Promoting Schools flag and it was raised in January 2016
