GREEN - SCHOOLS IRISH WATER POSTER COMPETITION
More than 400 pupils entered the Green Schools Irish water poster competition recently.  Pupils were asked to design a poster on the theme "Clean water and sanitation"  22 winners were chosen and these pupils have been entered into the National Green Schools Competition.  Congratulations and good luck!

Green schools is another project that we take part in and we are very proud of our achievements so far in this area.  Our green school committee is made up of 19 pupils from different class levels and a group of teachers.  We meet up once a month and this meeting allows us to prepare for upcoming events.
We were awarded our First Green Flag for litter and waste in May 2013.  Our second green flag for Energy arrived in May 2015 and we are now working towards our third green flag.  This flag is for water and we hope to achieve this flag in May 2017.  So don’t forget – Turn off those dripping taps! Every drop counts!
