Developing our pupils creative side is a priority in St. Clare’s and this can be seen in the beautiful art work on display in our school.  As well as that each year we have a school musical and a variety of other plays throughout the year.  The children not only perform on stage but they spend a lot of time preparing the backdrops and props for these shows.
 In 2013 we participated in the Creative Schools Award as part of the Association for Creativity and Arts in Association. The school was presented with the Creative Schools Award at a presentation at the Ark Theatre Dublin and were presented with the award by Senator David Norris.
The school has also participated in the Bord Gais Student Theatre Awards in 2015 and 2016. The musicals that have taken part in these competitions have ranged from Cinderella Rockafella, Sister Act to the Wizard of Oz.
