Welcome to St Clare’s Primary School, Cavan

Dear Parent/ Guardian/ Visitor,

As principal of St. Clare’s Cavan it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website. Thank you for taking the time to visit, I hope it will provide you with the information you are looking for. Reading through the website you should get a sense of the spirit in St. Clare’s.

We strive for a welcoming, caring atmosphere and a sense of community where staff and students are happy in their work. As you will see, there is great energy in St. Clare’s and we have a lot of activities going on! I would like to thank all of the staff, students, Board of Management and parents for their contributions to the huge variety of interests and activities which are promoted in our school.

The teachers and staff in St. Clare’s are highly committed to helping your child reach his/her full potential academically, personally and spiritually. Religious & spiritual education is a high priority and the holistic development of each child is central to our Catholic ethos. We strive to build on each child’s strengths, regardless of where those strengths lie, in order to build confidence & self- esteem. Achievements in every aspect of the child’s life are facilitated & celebrated.
